I love Mr Garcia Marquez! I, however, felt that the book 'Memoirs of My Melancholy Whores' lacked the usual magic (it was my first book really and I read it a year back). My favorites are: Of Love and Other Demons, Love in the Time of Cholera, No One Writes to the Colonel, Leaf Storm-- practically, most of the books that I had read of his ^^
